About our Council
Council 2801 was established on November 27, 1938 as the only council in Fort Bend County Texas. Since then, the council has grown to an organization of 300 Catholic gentlemen. Although, affiliated with Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Rosenberg, this assembly contains members from the other parishes in the area, as well as from across the state from men who have ties back in the area. The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war and public relief works.
